Lauren- Owner/Hairstylist
Growing up with a mother who was a hairstylist, Lauren knew from a young age hair was her future. Over the last 18 years she has worked her way from apprentice to salon owner; her love for the industry never wavering.
Education has been a driving force in Lauren’s career. She is passionate about staying current on her education to be able to offer her clients the latest and greatest trends. Lauren is a certified color specialist, devacurl certified and holds certifications in various extension methods. Her most recent educational venture has been into the world of hair loss and methods to help conceal hair loss and reduce the anxiety around this very common concern.

When she’s not behind the chair Lauren is likely on the beach with a book in hand, playing in the woods with her friends and dogs or seeking adventure in some far off land.
Whether it be in her chair or the chair of one the talented stylists at Blend Beauty Collective, Lauren hopes that you enjoy the space and leave feeling like your best self.
Carly- Co-founder/ Hairstylist
Carly began her career 15 years ago specializing in cutting, she has since taken a dive into the world of color and is passionate about both. Carly takes pride in being able to meet and service every client that sits in her chair.
Carly, a Texas native, has lived in Wilmington the past 18 years. She couldn’t imagine a better place to raise Parker, her son, or Lincoln (her crazy boxer) and wouldn’t want to do life anywhere else.
When Carly isn’t behind the chair, she enjoys playing with her son, and cheering him on for all his accomplishments and dreams. Not one to sit around Carly loves exercise in whatever form it comes. The water is Carly’s happy place. Her love split between the ocean and the lakes of Minnesota.

Education is at the heart of my mission. I want you to feel heard while also teaching you how to best manage your hair. I am committed to offering personalized experiences, making sure you leave the salon feeling confident and empowered. No matter how you identify or what you believe in you will always be welcomed and celebrated in my chair!
When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me out on the boat with friends or hanging with my dog, Dolly. Training and loving on Dolly is my bliss. I also love reading, music, diving into mixed media art and attending art shows downtown. These passions keep me inspired and add that extra creative spark to everything I do.
